CCU Nurse
Role Overview
The CCU Nurse will be responsible for delivering high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients within the Critical Care Unit. The role involves close monitoring of patient conditions, timely clinical interventions, and effective coordination with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide continuous monitoring and specialized nursing care for patients in the CCU
- Administer medications, therapies, and emergency procedures as per physician directives
- Operate and manage critical care equipment (ventilators, monitors, infusion pumps, etc.)
- Perform accurate assessment, documentation, and reporting of patient status
- Maintain infection control and patient safety standards at all times
- Support family communication, education, and emotional care
- Participate in emergency response and code blue situations
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to support patient recovery plans
Qualification
- GNM / B.Sc Nursing from a recognized institution
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience
