Role Overview

The OT Nurse will provide specialized nursing care in the Operation Theatre, assisting surgeons and ensuring patient safety before, during, and after surgical procedures. The role involves close coordination with surgical and anaesthesia teams to maintain high standards of clinical care.

Qualification

• B.Sc Nursing / GNM from a recognized institution

Experience

• Experience working in an Operation Theater.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures and ensure readiness of the Operation Theatre
• Monitor patients’ condition pre-, intra-, and post-operatively
• Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile environment
• Support anaesthesia and surgical teams during procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety and infection control protocols
• Coordinate with other healthcare staff to ensure seamless patient care
