Thiruvananthapuram, May 16–30, 2026: SP Fort Hospital successfully organized a Pediatric Allergy & Asthma Screening Camp to help parents identify and manage allergies and respiratory conditions in children at an early stage. The camp was conducted at SP Fort Health Plus, Eanchakkal, from May 16 to May 30, 2026, providing comprehensive screening and expert consultation for children experiencing allergy and asthma-related symptoms.
The initiative aimed to create awareness about childhood allergies, asthma, and other respiratory conditions while promoting early diagnosis and timely intervention. A large number of children and parents benefited from the camp, receiving personalized medical guidance from experienced pediatric specialists.
As part of the camp, participants were offered free consultations in Pediatrics, Development Therapy, and Nutrition. Specialized investigations including Pulmonary Function Test (PFT), Skin Prick Test for allergy detection, and laboratory tests such as Complete Blood Count (CBC) and Absolute Eosinophil Count (AEC) were also made available. Parents were provided with detailed counseling on allergy prevention, asthma management, lifestyle modifications, and appropriate treatment options based on individual evaluations.
