SP Fort Hospital successfully conducted the valedictory function of International Infection Prevention Week 2026, marking the conclusion of a week dedicated to promoting infection prevention and hand hygiene practices.
The function was presided over by Mr. Advaith A. Bala, Executive Director, SP Fort Hospital, while Dr. Madiha, Infection Control Officer, addressed the gathering and highlighted the importance of infection prevention.
The event featured the distribution of prizes to the winners of various competitions conducted throughout the week. It also recognised outstanding contributions through the presentation of the Infection Control Champion of the Year 2026 and Hand Hygiene Champion of the Year 2026 awards.
These awards honoured individuals who demonstrated exemplary commitment to infection prevention and hand hygiene practices.
